Meet Don Cousins

Don Cousins has been serving the needs of clients throughout Louisiana for over 30 years. Obtaining his license to sell insurance in 1984, Don began his career focusing on life insurance policies while working with one of the largest insurance carriers in the United States. In 1986, after gaining extensive experience writing individual and group health insurance policies for the medical profession, he started his own insurance agency.

When asked why he has been in the insurance industry for three decades, Don said that he loves helping people and that he and his staff spend a tremendous amount of time on each individual case to ensure that they exceed their clients' expectations. 

A believer in giving back to the community, Don provides annual donations to non-profit organizations and traveled to Thailand to help rebuild a school in an area that was devastated by the Indian Ocean Tsunami. 

A native of New Orleans, Don enjoys the outdoors whether it be sailing, playing golf, fishing or spending time on the beach in Florida. He is an avid fan of all Louisiana sports teams and also loves to attend horse races at The Fairgrounds.
